On Sunday the 17th of November a memorial day was held for Kamalashila at the North London Buddhist Centre. There was a morning session introduced by Yashobodhi and with recorded practices led by Kamalashila. In the afternoon there was rejoicing in his life with music and singing from his sisters and nieces, eulogies from Vessantara, Ratnadeva and Satyaraja and a final Tara Puja again led by Kamalashila with the dissolving of the shrine and ending with handing over of his gong by Yashobodhi to Vessantara.
